SUCH a great couple! These guys have been so fun to work with. About an hour before the reception ended, Brittany said, “Let’s go take pictures”. We went out into the alley and played. I was really excited to get some cool night photos.

I’ve been working on both Kate & Jeremy & Brittany and Frank’s weddings today, so I thought I’d give you a sneak peak. I’m going to blog both over the next 2 days, but here are a few to get you started!

Well, July is here, and I’m excited about turning 30 on the 13th! I know my brain dump the other day sounded bleek, but you know everything is always better the next morning 
I want this month to be a big ole party! My goal is to blog something fun every day until my birthday. Now that July is here, my schedule is thinning out a bit, so I’m finally going to get to blog all those wonderful weddings I’ve been shooting the past 3 months!!! In addition to that, I want to show you my new pretty house, and hopefully throw some handsome kel and posey in the mix with that too.
I’m going to be giving away birthday presents too! Stay tuned every day so you won’t miss out on the fun.

I just wanted to thank all of you for the big ole’ love fest over the past 2 days. Truthfully, I almost didn’t post my brain dump, b/c I thought I would look stupid, or that everyone would think I was trying to feel sorry for myself(which I was). I did it anyway b/c I so sick and tired of all the pride that runs in the photography world. Everyone thinks that they have to be perfect for people to like them! Yesterday was an amazing day….everytime I checked my blog, someone had some type of encouragement to give me. You guys are awesome. I don’t even know many of you, but I still feel like I know you. Maybe you can come to my birthday party

One of my great friends Millie taught me this thing called “Brain Dump”. I thought tonight would be a great night for that.
-I’ve been out of town for over a week, and I miss my Posey and Hansome Kel. Weeks like this are hard. They make you evaluate your life. Am I a good mom? Am I a good wife?
-I threw up on the plane home from Connecticut. It was miserable. I wanted to cry….i’m pretty sure I did.
-We’ve been finished with our new house for over a week, but we’re too busy to move in. The day I arrived home, kelly boy left town for flying school.
-Yay for kelly boy getting a pilot job. boo that he’s gone for a week to learn the plane.
-I think I’ve neglected my dog pixie since Posey’s been alive. She looks at me like she’s sad.
-Never brain dump after a glass of wine.
-I’m going to be 30 in less than a month. I’d really hoped to be in my skinny jeans by 30.
-I’m thinking when your baby is 8 months, it’s no longer baby weight, but mommy weight.
-hmmm, should I move my studio to my new pretty house.
-Posey says dada, but not mama. Please say mama, please say mama.
-Do I work too much?
-I really need to blog.
-I really need to excercise.
-I really need to read my bible.
-I really need to sleep.
-Not necessarily in that order.
-I miss singing. Am I going to loose it if I don’t use it?
-Why the hell did I cut my hair?
-Both my brothers are moving back into town. One from Maryland, and one from Alabama. I’m so excited that I’ll be able to see them again. You forget how important family is until they aren’t around.
-Is it bad that I want a $2000 couch? Pretty sure Kelly boy won’t let that happen. Ivan Smith, here I come.

So I didn’t even bring my camera on our scouting trip, so I’m using Lauren’s images to post. We had a great week planning and getting things ready to launch registration for LOVE AFFAIR this November. Of course while we were there, I might have indulged in a pedicure and a massage or two

As many of you know, we opened registration a while back, but due to some logistical issues, we decided to move the location to the states. We are actually waiting on our new super cool blog to be finished to reopen registration. We’re being optimistic, and hoping that will be within the next 2 weeks, so stayed tuned to hear more details.
