We prayed for no rain, and the Lord answered us! It was a beautiful day to go out and shoot! It was a little hot, but Anna was a trooper. We had some serious fun ![]()

I wanted to let all of my clients know that I’ll be taking off the month of August….with the exceptions of my weddings of course. I’ve finally decided it’s too hot here in good ole Louisiana to be dragging my brides out in the heat of August.
So this means if your wedding is coming up in Sept, Oct, Nov. or Dec. we need to get you on the books for your photos either BEFORE or AFTER August, no exceptions.
This is also a gentle reminder to my clients not to wait until the last minute to book your bridals and engagements. At this point, I’m booked about 6 weeks in advance, so if you call me 6 weeks before you wedding, we won’t be able to fit you in to do your sessions before the wedding. I really love shooting all you guys bridal and engagement sessions, so please please call early
Thanks a ton,
I don’t photograph families, but when I do, I definitely love to photograph families like the Dillards. They were excited to be there, and let me try all sorts of stuff on them.
These girls were to sweetest things ever! I only hope Posey turns out half as sweet and polite as these girls.

Hey all you loyal blog readers out there. Don’t give up on me, I will blog again. As many of you know, wedding season is in full swing, we’re trying to wrap up this house building thing, and po po is taking up a fair amount of my time
I hear by pledge to blog all of my weddings over the past 2 months:
Megan + David
Beth + Justin
Jennifer + Francois
Alicia + Jeff
Erin + Todd
These guys have had some rockin’ weddings, and I promise I do want to share them with you. Soon my sweet readers, soon.
By the way, I really really appreciate you guys stopping by and checking up on me.
I have an Idea, to kick my booty in gear to get these weddings blogged, leave me a comment and tell me to do it now!!
P.S. LOVE ADDICT registration went great. I am sold out for this August, and i’m already scheming to make it the best ever!
Jennifer and Francois have such a fun story. Francois is from South Africa, where the two of them met while Jennifer was on a mission trip. Long story short: They fell in love, got engaged, and spent a really long time trying to get Francios a visa so he could be here for the wedding ![]()
All went well, and they are now happily married. I had the chance yesterday to photograph the two of them.
Here are a few of my favorites:

Oh, my Sweet Posey. No major photoshoot or anything. I just thought I would post a few random shots of her lately. She is so stinkin’ cute if I must say so myself.

Yes, my child poops on the potty. No I’m not kidding. She’s been doing this since she was a month old!!

When Kelly Cathey came for her Give Me Moore session, she brought Posey this adorable, “binkies rock” shirt.

Posey loves her bouncy!

And this is so you can see the sheer magnitude of the bouffant.

Amy and I go way back. We were friends in High School, and ended up neighbors in College. She is a super cool cat. She now lives in Little Rock where she met her new Hubby to be. I haven’t met him, but I hear he’s a keeper. Amy was in town earlier this week, and I was able to squeeze her in for a few bridal shots. Congrats Amy….I hope marriage is as great for you as it has been for me!

Amy wanted to get a shot on her grandfather’s old tractor for her dad.

I just finished wrapping up an amazingly fun and intense GMM session with Heather Thorne. She woke up this morning at 5:00 and trecked all the way to Ruston by 10:00. We had a completely beautiful day(and model) to work with. Heather did an amazing job getting these shots! Heather your rocked it out!

I traveled to Huntsville, AL about a month ago to photograph Megan & David’s Wedding and Engagement session as well as Megan’s bridal session! It was a action packed weekend. I just had a few minutes to work on Megan’s Bridal’s today, and I hope to blog their eng/wedding next week. Stay tuned….
